construction technology. There exist in the terminal, a total of 34 systems 15 of which
are mechanical, 11 electronic, 6 electric and 2 for security. The terminal building has 3
floors; namely the Departure Floor, the Arrival Floor and the Service Floor.

passport control. Passengers here can also reach with escalators the apron-side
restaurants on the mezzanine floor and the CIP halls on the lower floors. The Departure
Floor, which is the prestige hall of the terminal building, is indeed a huge space. It is
240 meters by 72 meters and has a height of 10 meters. The Arrival Floor comprises
passport control and baggage claim areas. Banks, the post office and car rental and hotel
reservation offices are situated in the visitors lounge in the curb direction.

new conference hall, hotel, sports center, waiting lounges and VIP lounge will make life
more enjoyable and confortable at the terminal.

The multi-storey parking is located to the north of the terminal. It has a capacity for
more than 7000 vehicles and is connected to the domestic terminal as well. The main
entrance and exit have been planned so as not to cause any traffic congestion. There are
10 automatic ticket dispensers on the main entrance road in the north. There are also
additional entry points both on the entrance and exit roads. There are 10 exit gates at
the main exit in the southeastern corner. Automatic paying machines have been placed at
pedestrian entry points so as to lessen the load of exit gates. There also exist paying

International Terminal. 4 automatic paying machines and 1 paying desk is at the service of
visitors and passengers in the part that faces the Domestic Lines Terminal. There are 2

2 ½ by 5 meter parking spaces are designed in parallel rows which are orthogonal to the
columns. The one-way passages in between the parking rows are 6 meters wide while the main
passages which are perpendicular to the parking spaces are 7 ½ meters wide.
The three vertical flow centers situated at the southern end of the car park comprise a
lift, a staircase and a toilet and connect all the floors of the car park to one another
